1976-2007

The company was founded in May of 1976 by Louis Heimbrock Sr. with his tools and a truck. His goal was to provide customers with quality workmanship at competitive prices. The business began to grow and Louis Heimbrock Jr. came into the family business in 1978. Through their hard work and dedication to customer service, the company continued to grow. By 1986, Louis Heimbrock Jr. became the president and majority stockholder.

In February of 2002, Louis J. Heimbrock Sr., Inc. accepted a merger agreement with Fisher-Klosterman Inc.. With this merger Louis Heimbrock Jr. became the Vice President of FKI – Heimbrock Refractory Service Division. This merger lasted until July 1st of 2007, at which time Louis J. Heimbrock Sr., Inc. was split off from Fisher-Klosterman.

About

2007 - Present

Two of Louis Heimbrock's sons joined the family business to carry on the legacy. In May of 2008, Louis Heimbrock III began working for the company full time after completing his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Beginning in sales, his role expanded to be named Vice-President in 2013. Phillip Heimbrock began his full time position as Project Manager in May of 2014 after earning his degree in Engineering Technology.

In 2015, the company moved to it's current location in Shepherdsville, KY. The nearly 4 acre site will allow for continued growth and expansion.

Today, Louis J. Heimbrock Sr., Inc. continues to provide the same quality workmanship and customer service that the company was built on. Our team of craftsmen has great depth of experience in serving industries as diverse as wood products, distilleries, heat treating, aluminum and non-ferrous metals, cement and lime, pottery, glass, carbon processing, chemicals, steel, iron, incineration, cremation, power, food processing, and health care.
